What a starlight headliner means in our studio
In our studio, a starlight headliner is a fully engineered fibre-optic ceiling that becomes part of the interior architecture – not a random sprinkle of lights.
Each light point is positioned with respect to roof lines, seating positions and sightlines, so the ceiling works with the cabin, not against it.
We create starlight headliners for Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, G-Class, Porsche, BMW, Range Rover and other high-end cars – where the cabin is expected to meet a certain standard of calm, precision and quality.
We do not install universal “kits”, drill through the roof without a plan or create disco-style effects. If a car or request does not fit our level of work, we say so directly.
Key principles of our starlight headliners
The starry sky follows the shapes, lines and colour balance of your cabin, so it reads like something the car could have left the factory with – not an aftermarket add-on.
Atmosphere for night drives
Star density, brightness and colour temperature are tuned for evening and night use. The cabin feels calm and comfortable, without glare or visual noise for the driver.
Quiet and service-friendly installation
The roof structure, airbags and wiring are respected. Fibre optics and components are fixed so they don’t creak, sag or interfere with future service and diagnostics.
We start from the interior, not from the lights
We always begin with the cabin architecture, roof lines, seating positions and the materials already used in the car. Then we design the star layout and night character around that.
Light points are drilled with different diameters and carefully controlled star density, so your ceiling has depth and “layers” of stars rather than a flat sprinkle of identical points.
For some cars, the night sky is very calm, almost minimal – just a soft layer of stars. For others, we can add a subtle shooting-star effect or a few denser star bands. On request, we can follow a real constellation or create a discreet Milky Way band.

Engineering and integration
We work with high-quality fibre optics and reliable LED light units, positioned out of sight and away from heat-exposed areas. For each car we design a dedicated fibre network from scratch: the number of light points, their density in different zones and the mix of fibre thicknesses are all selected individually.
The headliner base is prepared so the fibre network is fixed with no movement or unwanted noise. Cable routes are planned around factory wiring, airbags and roof structure to avoid pressure points. Fixing points and access for future service are considered from the start, so the system stays quiet, stable and technically correct in everyday use.
Our process
Step 1 – Consultation and vehicle inspection
We discuss your car, how you use it and what kind of starry sky you expect – from barely noticeable to more pronounced. We inspect the interior and assess the roof structure.
Step 2 – Concept and star layout
We design a star concept, colour tone and light intensity specifically for your cabin, taking into account roof shape, seating positions and materials.
Step 3 – System and component selection
We choose the fibre-optic system, light units and materials best suited to your car and to the level of integration required.
Step 4 – Disassembly and preparation
The headliner and necessary trim parts are carefully removed. The base is prepared, cable routes are defined and the interior around the working area is protected.
Step 5 – Installation and calibration
Fibre optics and components are fixed so they do not creak, sag or interfere with future service and diagnostics. We test the system in the dark and adjust brightness, distribution and effects until the result is balanced and comfortable.
Step 6 – Handover and guidance
You receive your car with a fully installed starlight headliner. We walk you through the controls and share simple recommendations for care and daily use.
